Proposed Design
I always love the Addition project in the front yard. give me much more opportunity of creating new design and challenge of harmony with existing building.
Client has indicated they don’t like big windows facing west, which happen very common in San Diego, front yard is facing west. With given big gable solid wall, we come with solution to break it into double gable roof.
By adding an focal point of entry to emphasize the identity of house. We also proposed to use stain wood siding at gable side of wall to bring the beauty of wood to part of exterior elements.
