Excited to see this project started. PYA was commissioned during the Covid, It is first project I did remotely to work with the City of Los Angeles for submittal, review, approval with multiple departments including Fire Department, Engineering, and Building.
PYA design an second story ADU addition over existing house, we have to retrofit existing footing to comply the today code. We took what existing building give to us and add a bearing wall and shear wall interior. Existing house is single story with pitch roof. Roof has been removed already.
PYA is responsible for Architectural, structural design, and T-24.
